Extraordinary Palm Candles!
| The wax is a pure wax made from the trunk of coconut palm trees, and the coconut husk itself. Our Palm Candles are quite extraordinaire with the natural way that the wax crystallizes when cool—creating the crystallized look on the top and outside of the candle—in a crystal clear glass container—cylinder styling adds a very current contemporary style to the candle---the diagonal pour of the candle is accomplished through a very innovative pouring system that allows the first layer of wax to completely cool before adding the second layer and diminishes the mixing of the two colors when poured on top of the bottom colored wax---this essentially creates a hand poured candle due to the way it has to pour, cool and poor again. The wax itself is very hard which traps the fragrance within the wax very good---therefore we say the candle is a little shy at first when you smell it unlit (what is called the cold throw of the candle)—the wax is so hard and traps the fragrance so well that it may not be strong when smelled unlit—but when you light it—WOW—the hot throw of the fragrance into a space is phenomenal—the wooden ember wick creates a hotter flame for the candle therefore melting the whole candle across the jar and forming a nice pool of wax that truly throws fragrance great. The wood ember wick makes a soft wooshing sound that resembles a nice small flame burning wood in a fireplace---the other great aspect of this type of wick is that it never needs trimming—the wood burns as it goes down the candle and never needs trimming and will burn to the very bottom of the candle! |
